Earlier in the thread Boost N 20B said that the other colour scan car was with a Sean Cruikshank. Is the Longhurst car not a colourscan car? I thought it had to be as it had a Cosworth in it.

Longhurst's car is the ex Llynden Reithmuller SPV/ENDLESS car which appeared on the scene in 1996, it was never a Colourscan car.

Simon said that he got the car from Lyndon. He (Lyndon) apparently had spent a fortune on this car putting all the good gear in it. He said it may have been someone elses that Lyndon purchased and completely rebuilt it.

From what I remember at the time it was a new car, not sure of its exact origin.
It would make sense that he had flash parts in it as he had an association with SPV Racing who used to sell Hewland gearboxes, AP Racing products, Endless brake pads.

The first time I saw it was at the launch of the 1996 O'Brien Aluminium Sport Sedan series that was held at the Roman Autotek showroom in Rhodes (they were an associate sponsor of the series). it was there along with Des Wall's Supra and Ron & Peter O'Briens V6 Chev powered Ford Sierra. Couple of months later I saw it race at a state level meeting at Wakefield Park in mid 1996, I seem to think it was more then likely the cars first race meeting.

I am back on the S4 RX7's again....

Alright this proves that this is the US IMSA built car that was brought over by Mark Williams. Still unsure who currently owns this though.

Did this one ever get completed or hit the track? Which car would it be now? This is from 2003.

What about this one?

This shows that Richard owned two Ward built cars at once. The Rotaryshop RX7 being one of them.
