Hi guys do you think we could make a list of new sports sedans being built (state and national). Im really interested in seeing how
many are out there, by the sounds of things there will be a large batch of new cars coming out in the future.

Sounds like a good idea, here are some new cars that have been discussed here before:
- Kerry Bailey's Aston Martin
- Phil Crompton has a new chassis being built and it was mentioned he might upgrade to a later model Ford Mustang body?
- The Marinelli team are building a Ford Sierra being powered by rotary turbo engine
- HTC Motorsport is building an Alfa 156 with a Nissan V6 turbo motor
Thats all I can remember for now, the rumour mill has been a bit quiet lately!

Turbo 13B Mazda RX7 series 4 built by Dick Ward recently purchased by a new Brisbane based competitor. Awaiting delivery in the next week or 2 of a brand new 550hp engine. Should be right on the money once the driver gets some laps and experience.

Nadz i have not bought Micks escort or his previous car. Mick's car is owned by a guy who is fitting a turbo 4 cylinder. I bought an Escort RS2000 identical to Micks but the body kit was that of the Zakspeed style ie; box guards. I removed the body and fitted the Alfa body 156 and ordered a set of DTM panels from europe. I have been trying to locate a log book for my car because it apparently had history prior to 1986 which would have given it historic identity. JD has been trying to find something for me. If i could find the history (see other thread Escort RS2000) then i would keep it as an Escort. However i have been unable to find any information. So at the moment the Alfa body stays.

An old sports sedan driver from the 80's has his son about to bring his new car out, Nissan 180SX with Toyota inline 6 cylinder turbo. Has been drifting it but i talked him into swapping over. Just about ready to go as he had the whole thing together and just needed some suspension changes. Not sure how it will go but it had big horsepower like 800 or so for drifting, so will have to wait and see.

Is that Simon Podlewski's 180sx? Drifting, haha its the motorsport equivalent of figure skating in my opinion! Good on you for setting him straight HTC!
