Posted: Fri Jun 26, 2009 9:54 pmI just receieved a phone call from Mark Nelson at 21.11 hoppin' into me about organising a sport sedan catagory at the Shannons Nationals 7-9 Aug.
I asked why would he not want to grow & support the catagory, even at Warwick.
He also expressed objection to me utilising this forum to promote the event.
Mark than took me to task regarding how the National "competitors" pay $5000 and I'm promoting an event for an entry fee of $330.
Mark also said the reason why "we", that is Qld, did not get a National race meeting was because of John Tetley from QR.
Mark also accused me of "going behind everyones back", weird considering I called him back in Feb to introduce myself, the idea & I got his blessing, so long as the event doesn't take National cars from the Kerrick rounds.
Mark also expressed that he had been organising events for 5 years & I 'd only been doin' it for 5 minutes.
Mark than suddenly hung up on me. Child.
