Just saw last night a clip from an 80s movie of what looked and sounded like a tough lookin sport sedan capri..Not sure how to uploads vids on here...someone help....

The Capri giving chase is one of New Zealands more colourful Sports Sedans. First built up by Brent Bullivant, who later prepared Jim Richards' XC Falcon hardtop sports sedan, it featured a small block V8, and I think it was spaceframed at the front.
Later owners were Graeme Baker, of PDL Mustang fame, plus Bob Cullinaine, then Brian Frend, who owned it when it appeared in the movie, and chased the Trans-Am up the Rimutaka hill (near Wellington) before crashing into a ditch.
Its now owned and raced by Graham Barnes as at 2005
