Hi all

can anyone tell me the gear widths they use in there transaxles?

ie, width of a dgb gear, vgc gear, dg300 gear

Theres more to it than gear width...

Formula1 gear is between 6-8mm...

Roughly,
DG300- 16mm
DGB- 17-18mm
VGC- 20-22mm

Thanks topgear, yeh im well aware of that. I was hoping you would be with john
on the weekend to have a look at the box he brought up for me to have a look at.

What generally causes gears to break topgear? as in what in there design is crucial.
I ask as my holinger with 24/22mm wide gears broke teeth of whereas with the same
power etc the dgb with 14/16mm gears never broke a tooth?
