Muscle Car Masters Is the perfect opportunity for Sport Sedans generally but Historics especially. Will the Ex Edmondson Machine be there? With the dual championship driver there to present the trophies to the winners it would be great if we could get some cars from his period. We need as many cars as possible, with story cards on their history. Please ask all those who you know to make an effort, dust them off and bring them out PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ive had my historic escort sports sedan on display and did heritage hot laps 08, 09, but was os last year so missed out. The only other car Ive seen there is the Frank Ure torana, and anyone whos seen it would have to agree hes done a fantastic job on restoring it and presenting it and I for one can testify it goes as good as it looks from the few laps we got in heritage hot laps. I hope we can get a few more cars there this year as it is a fantastic event, and even though some people may regard it as a wank event, I think its still the best opportunity to show your car to a fantastic fan base. I did intend to compete in the ss support races this year, but baulked when I saw the oversubscribed notices on the nsw ss website, so Ive now entered Pittsworth sprints that weekend, which is a bit closer for me. Maybe next year. Was talking to Mark Trenoweth and he was hoping to take his Unipart Jag down for display and hot laps. Another fantastic historic sports sedan, and like mopar I hope they keep coming out of the woodwork, as I know there are plenty out there sitting in sheds. Garry.

well said gford,I went to MCM in 09 and was the best motorsport event i have ever been to as a spectator, the accessability to cars, drivers and pits is second to none.I am a sports sedan tragic myself and when i read that sports sedans were on the bill i thought "WOW" imagine 30 to 40 cars with a good mix of historic era cars plus current cars, now I am left wondering what has happened to potentally the best advertisment for our cars,I wonder how many other period cars could not get a start?Well done to the guys that raced over the weekend and hopefully POLITICS wont wreck sports sedans being at what is the best WANK i've ever been to!!!!!
