Oran park October round

Glad to hear there are a few cars still lining up for the next round.
Steve has the Camaro all ready to go for Oran Park and I'm trying to save some pennies to head down Phillip Island for the last round too

Oran park October round

Mr Boost "finding a heap of horespower" is an understatement.
In most of the sessions we could pass or at least keep up and then all off a sudden WHOOSH gone! :(
I wish our little Folden powered Torana could find that much "missing horsepower" ;)

Oran park October round

haha yeh it very much surprised me id neva driven anything like that before. We had built a new exhaust manifold for the car as the old one was just a standard road car one. when i first ran it on the fri it was massively lean. by the time it was tuned properly (race 1-2) it had needed an extra 25% of fuel over the whole boost range to have a nice lambda reading. thats how much difference can be found in a turbo exhuast manifold if it flows correctly!
the first time i passed you tho in r1 it was going EXTREMELY good, which was due to a wastegate line coming off which meant the 3bar boost gauge was off the clock so i had to stop before i stopped permanently.
Your car had me under brakes no worries, i tried braking as late as you into the last corner and nearly ended up in ur rear end. i dont know if it is brake size or that your car is alot more settled than mine. i wish i had the cash to come to phillip island and race with you guys, i had the home track advantage there id love to race with you down there. one day !

HEY JET I HAVE BEEN THINKING DO YOU THINK WE NEED A DRIVING STANDARD OFFICER IF KNUCKLE HEADS KEEP ON DOING DAMAGE TIME AND TIME AGAIN PUTTING PEOPLE AND CARS OUT MAYBE THEY SHOULD GET TIME OUT . NOW WE ALL CAN HAVE BRAIN FAD [EXCEPT YOU OF COURSE PHIL] BUT EVERY MEETING IS JUST BAD DRIVING, BRAIN FADE, OR DELIBERATE, OR WORSE, ALL OF THE ABOVE .I CANNT REMEMBER EVER HITTING OR BEING HIT BUY THE GUYS I AM RACING WITH DES WALL, KERRY BAILEY TRENT YOUNG ETC, IN 20 YEARS I HAVE HAD THREE TIMES I HAVE STUFFED UP AND THATS BEING BIG TIME SELF CRITICAL.THERE ARE SOME DRIVERS WHO HAVE HAD 20 CRASHES IN FOUR YEARS, WE HAVE A GREAT CLASS LETS NOT LET A FEW ROTTEN VEGS SPOIL THE CLASS .

Only a couple of weeks out now.
Any idea on numbers, entries for this round? Will there be TV coverage?
