What a Bummer for Chris. Real shame. Now the pressure's on Scott to hold the fort for the New South guys....

CD, i'll be at the gate by 6am Friday. I'm driving Dean Camm's truck down there, get there early and we can have a practice on the scaled down Go Kart circuit...

See you there....

:( Hi all , as per the previous posts , I'm out for the weekend . Brock & me were loading all the spares on tue & i picked up a piece of sheetmetal with a razor sharp edge . It cut my middle left finger through to the bone & severed the tendan , nerves & main artery . A couple of hours microsurgery on wed had it all reconnected & after a few days it feels fine & i can feel everything like normal , just cant race untill its healed .
Thanks for the messages & all those who telephoned me , we'll be back next season & having a big go as usual .
Good luck to everybody racing this weekend
Chris

Darren 1st, Des 2nd and Tony 3rd in the Preliminary race. Does anyone know how the points are working for this weekend? Was this a points race?

Cmon Des!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Under the sporting regs section S7 all 3 races would be points scoring races as well as Des picking up 2 points for pole.
So far Darren 20 points and Des 17 + 2 = 19.

Thanks Phil, so if he finishes top 4 in the final 2 races then he will probably get it?.
Natsoft is not updating today for some reason which is making it difficult to monitor!!!

Des Wall 2 17 17 0 36 183 219
Tony Ricciardello 0 15 20 0 35 164 199
Darren Hossack 0 20 0 0 20 168 188

If Tony wins race 3 and Des fails to finish then the series is tied with Des and Tony.
Hang in there Des, you only need to finish to score 1 point and it is your year!

CONGRATULATIONS DES!!
I didnt realise you hadnt won a championship till this week!?

Thanks for supporting the series for so many years, especially this one! And bringing so many varying cars for us to watch over the years, there could hardly be a more deserving Champion!

Well done Des.
He must be soooooo happy. He had a couple of close calls in the early 90's at winning it but now finally has the number 1 on the side of the Vette.

There has never been a more deserved champion with his commitment to the category.
