Entry form posted today.

Now off to the shops to stock up on heaters, electric blankets and thermal underwear!!

Went there way back in 1986 when Dad was racing the Super Mini Series - first race was delayed due to ice on the track!!

MrBoost we had a good run at Mallala untill we started having an annoying oil leak in our new engine.

At first we thought is was rear main, but it ended up being a crack in the sump pan :(

The leak was annoying but it kept going into the clutch and making it slip after 5-6 laps.....................

All fixed now and ready to go for Winton.

Thanks Gary, Steve has been eliminating my excuses with the car as fast as I can think of them and I'm running out of ideas.

Entries have been trickling in and we presently have entry forms (including forms alledgedly sent) for a total of 13 National entries and an indication from ASSA Vic that they have received 7 state entries.

This gives us a total of 20 to date.

To be honest I am concerned that there is only 7 state entries, either you have a major participation problem in that state (not a car shortage just a participation shortage) or this event has gone unnoticed????

There is 3 more verbals from state but no forms or $$ yet. Even so that is only 10 state, I would have thought you would have at least the 14 that attended Sandown and maybe more considering it is a televised event.

I am starting to run out of ideas to get teams motivated. Would strippers and free beer on Saturday night help?

Phil, out of the 14 at Sandown, only 7 of them were members of ASSA Vic anyway. Same at round 1 at the Island. So if we get 10 or more, it's better than what we've had all year so far.

Unfortunately we have quite a few cars without engines etc. at the minute and a few members building new cars, so we can only hope that by the end of the year it gets better?
