Hey 2002, I think you're spot on there. A well developed turbo engine will be up there with the rest of them, although maintenance on a turbo engine is probably a little more (excepting rotaries that seem to last forever when treated well).
Also, getting the rest of the setup right is hard work which can't be achieved if you never finish. Boost and Snr Boost seem to have the chassis set up pretty well so for them it's time to be developing the engine, and a great job they are doing, although i'm sure it's frustrating, the end result will be awesome..
I opted to buy a developed engine instead, thinking it would save me some money..(WRONG) They made good reliable horsepower at huge boost (check out the top of the regulated blow off. Yes that's right, 3.7bar of boost) Only problem is, there is no way my car would handle anything like that. So we're running it n/a for a couple of years to sort the chassis out.
Sports Sedans is all about thinking outside the square and doing something different, and in the end, anyone who can get any car to the track with any engine and finish a round is doing extremely well.
Keep persisting Boost family and Trent etc. It sure won't happen overnight, but it will happen..

PS:- Thanks JD for teaching me how to use photobucket..
