Vic State Series Crash - Sandown

You Victorians always think you can do things bigger and better ? This time I think you won hands down ! ;)

Did you make the National TV with this .

Eh? WTF is this post all about? Nice way to introduce yourself to your fellow competitors - sledge competitors from interstate. Welcome!

I'm a QLD'er also - where in this thread did any Victorian say they could do things bigger and better? FYI, we still have standing starts at CAMS State Level in QLD!! They work fine as a rule although startline accidents can happen (not only in a standing start situation BTW!). I do however prefer a rolling start myself.

I agree with Ricey, let's save the interstate sledging and rivalry for another time. There are a heap of competitors that have just torn up their equipment in an unfortunate accident that can sometimes happen in motor racing.

Maybe, it appears as though Victorian competitor Ricey didn't take it that way though........

Well FAMOUS thats a silly attitude & thank christ I don't have to race wheel to wheel with you. Here I am bustin' my arse to get as many sports sedans together & unite EVERYONE, and you come out with dribble like that.
How bigger & better are you?. You purchased a championship winning car that ran at a national level, then wobble around QR competing in a TOP GEAR meeting, which is put together for competitors who just want to have a run on the weekend.I couldn't believe what I was reading. Good people put time, effort & coin into their motorsport & for anyone to have a accident like Sandown, is something that yes happens but we never want it to happen. Then for you to "joke about it", that's very distasteful. It would be shame for you to write your car off & you would not be happy if people joked about that.
O and affended is spelt OFFENDED, you brainwave.

Hey Paul that's a bit harsh, it was just a very badly timed bit of sledging.
Famous hope you can make it down to our next state meeting at PI. I will do my bit to
make you welcome , there will be lots of vacant grid positions, your attendance would
help fill the field.

Ricey88, it's all about attitude, and now is not the time for sledging. Harsh nah, straight forward and honest yes, & what everyone else was thinking when they to read, FAMOUS's inspritational scribe or should I say SCRIBBLE. Like I said, FAMOUS go check yourself, give yourself a clip over the back of the head & apoligise to EVERYONE for your inability to empathise with fellow competitors in a time of need.

Well FAMOUS (Geoff). My name is Paul Hibberd, I'm the catagory manager for the Shannons round at Morgan Park in Aug 09. Whilst you were getting booted out of NASR, the Speedway Association, I was racing at a State level with a CAMS license. We will probably not race together, as you don't have a CAMS licence. Now when you decide to obtain a CAMS license you may have to check your attitude, as 'wobbling right over and out the other side side' of fellow competitors will not gain the signature that YOU NEED from the clerk of course. GROW UP & PULL YA HEAD IN.
