How long have you had the car....is there any thought on what years your talking about maybe from around 1977- 1980 that the car was in NSW. I have some old photos from Amaroo and Oran park from the late 70's ill have a look. Might be worth posting on 10-tenths website there is a lot of sports sedan nuts on there.

The id plate has NASCO on it is ineteresting as they were a supplier of parts for Holdens im wondering whether the car is an old group C car that has been converted as i remember on another forum someone had a group c shell with the same sort of id plate

It may be the Ken Davison Torana. Note the roll cage colour. It ran in the early 80's in NSW and I dont find any reference to it after that. There was not too many Torana hatches around, well compared to LJ's....

have found Bill Emeny, he is looking at the car next week,as stated early i have only had the car for a week found it in the back of a truck, had been in there for 23 years since its last meeting in 1987. In reference to the NASCO id plate , i am thinking the same thing ,hence my interest in its history pre 1984, as it is now space framed from firewall forward and rear end it is to far gone if it dose have any group c history but would like to know anyway.

thats the car, the guy i bought it off had only a few burnt pictures, in black and white with flashes down the side with the larger front splitter, will upload them tomorrow.

GREAT WORK GUYS KEEP THE INFO COMMING

What a great find, 23 years of sitting on a truck.... Amazing. I have fired an email off to a Group C guru on your behalf. If it does have some Group C History, he will know.

the above photos are the only photographic history that remains after the fire, although the livery has now changed, these photos show the same livery as seen in jd's colour photo, looks like photos taken at calder
