I have for sale my tow car and trailer.
TOW CAR
1997 Ford Transit Van SWB, white in colour, has Nissan VG30 V6 conversion, just rebuilt engine before xmas, EMS programable engine management, 5 speed, air, power steering,, new radiator, new exhaust, new clutch, seats 3 in front and has Wiltshire 3 person seat behind the fronts (removable). New tyres and brakes. Small dent in bonnet and driver door and tear in front drivers seat. Registered for 3 months, will register for 12 months for the buyer. Drives excellent will sit on a 130k's all day with trailer.

TRAILER
6.8 mtr long fully enclosed trailer, 1.74 between the arches, 2.3 wide and 2.4 high, gloss white cladding and edged in aluminium capping. Has full 1 piece aluminium roof, mags, new tyres, brakes, full drop down rear door, LH side door, has never leaked and looks nice. Tows a dream. registered for 3 months but will register for 12 for the buyer.

........$10,000 for trailer or $12,000 and i will throw the van in for free.......

any idea of the fuel economy towing?

Van has a 70 litre tank and i will go from Adelaide to Nhill on 3/4 of a tank. Nhill is about half way to Melbourne so i guess about 400-450 K's I fill up there and that takes me through to Melton where i fill up again. Not sure what that works out to be. I just fill up when it needs it, never worried about it before now.
