Steve,
Maybe give Dick Ward a call at Go Gear and see what the local Sports Sedan owners all do over there?

No there is not a NASSA affiliated club in WA.

Yes any state that races sports sedans may start a club. Generally you would register as West Australian Sports Sedan Association Inc.

I understand a floorpan sports sedans series in WA is quite active and you use group 3D log books and sports sedan rules with additional limitations for your floorpan cars. Nothing wrong with that and if it aint broke then dont fix it.

As a matter of fact we introduced a "heavy metal" trophy class in the Kerrick series last year but it has been put on the backburner due to lack of eastern coast support. Maybe you can help us revive that in the future?

Sadly Streetcar is quite unwell at the moment.
We want to run National rules as the Streetcar rules a subject to change very often and the R spec Radial tyre and heavy weights is off putting.
Quite a few Streetcars are changing over to Floorpan as are some IP cars. We are running our ex Streetcar as a SS this weekend.
