Hah!

No transaxle, too much re engineering needed for that! Just another in-tunnel jobbie.

I would think once that's done, we can do some much awaited testing (we have a direction to follow now), then hopefully make the round at Sandown.....

looks like we have an awesome championship shaping up. those top 3 are going to be at it every circuit. i get the feeling darren is quicker in high speed corners and tony at lower speeds.

well done again phil.

cant wait for e.c so i can be there to watch it!

Not sure on Tamasi, Hossack got handed a drive through in Race 2 which stopped a clean sweep. Bruce Banks made contact with Kerry Baily exit of turn 1 on lap 1 of Race 2 (Phil had prime spot for that one) taking them both out, Baily packed up. Ricciardello had a fair bit of attitude going when Hossack was behind him, New LR for Hossack to. Was some fantastic racing. Shame for Young who was doing really well. What a day!

Thanks for the update Rotorboi.

Looking forward to Petrolhead's round up of the meeting, his reports are always a good read that lets you know what went on for all the competitors, you can forget both Auto Action and Motorsport News' for any real decent info!

Hi all, apologies on behalf of the NASSA. No race report following Phillip Island round due to lack of funds to support the website. We are talking to a potential sponsor for the website and if those discussions prove positive, I will be into it. Thanks guys.

Nice thought Dasnowman, thanks. Let me follow through with discussions with potential sponsor and see where that takes us. If need be, we might all have to kick the tin for a $50 note.
Eastern Creek is going to be a cracker. About 24 entries, and Ricciadello, Hossack and Youlden will be quick as they were at PI. Crompton best of the rest but will be given some hurry up by Young, Irvin, Wall, Barnes, Butler etc etc. Just cannot wait!

Watched the coverage today, the battle between the Audi & Alfa was good to watch. Also nice to see some of the mid field runners get some coverage too with the interviews of Bruce Banks and Charlie Senese.
