Hey guys, unfortunately some sad news... Matt has passed away over night... Unfortunately couldnt beat this s*** of a disease called cancer... Hope his family can get through this horrible time and hope they know there alot of people thinkin of them...

Very, very sad news Adam.

I had the pleasure of speaking to Matt on the phone a few times before Christmas and only a couple of weeks ago. His enthusiasm for the category and keenness to become a regular participant was infectious.

From all in the Sports Sedan community, our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Thanks for letting us know Nadz.

It is a strange feeling when someone you know but dont really know passes away. This is not the first time and sadly wont be the last.

When I found out he was sick I sent him up hours of old Sports Sedan races to watch while he was fighting it to give him some joy. My condolences to his family.

Very sad news Nadz, thanks for keeping us informed.. Had the pleasure to meet Matt at Morgan Park the last 2 years we ran there.. Him and his family were always up for a chat and a laugh... Condolences to his family..

Great loss, spoke to Matt in November and he was so positive, he was looking forward to getting an LS based engine ready for a customer for SS racing, It is a bastard disease and we all have lost people we care too it. RIP Matt.
