I think these cars run sequential boxes ....are they allowed in Sports Sedan regs.

yeh there are s few cars out there with them

yeh but they are mechanical sequential boxes, i.e you pull a lever which mechanicaly selects through the gears. these things run electric sensors so you just flick a paddle or whatever like F1 boxes and a electric/hydraualic device changes the gears which isnt allowed is s/s.

basically the more i think about it too much would have to be changed to run s/s. it would still be right up there but nowhere near what it currently is.

The car was built by david waldon in qld as an under 2 litre car and it was quick.

He then sold it to a 17 year old in tassie who put a turbo on it and they never
acheived the full potential out of it

That belongs to Darryl Knuckey from SA. He had an EF or EL a few years back. Last time I saw it, it was a smouldering wreck at the flag point coming out of siberia, Island Magic I think 2006. I'm guessing this is the replacement that never got finished??

If anyone buys the Honda with the turbo engine fitted they'll have to put weight in it. It's much too light for the weight break that it should be in with a 2 litre turbo motor.
