Ok Boost, we already had this argument before, so now don't upset them AGAIN (LOL :D :D), but come on gotta give us a hint now you have said something tho!!!!!!

Now for the dream car, think i would have to go old school, a new monza, or mustang etc... something like that.
but that benz looks good too. Still waiting for another pic of that Aston too before i totally make my mind up tho!! :D :D

How would a Japanese GT car compare to a Sports Sedan lap time wise.. I am assuming that they would make much more horsepower?

they generally make less horsepower but have way better handling and aerodynamics. their rules have a little more freedom than ours. More to the point they spend 100 times the amount of money on their cars.

they would demolish a v8 supercar and comfortably beat a sport sedan

The GT cars have 2 classes, one set at 300ps and another at 500ps.
They are allowed almost anything that can be bolted onto the car to make it go faster though, as long as the power limit is adhered to.
Would kill to own one... Anybody need a hitman???

Just as a rough indicationon Tsukuba circuit the lap record is in a Honda NSX with just under 52 seconds. Same track by a guy I know in a 32 GTR was around 60 seconds. Same GTR went around the QR national circuit in 1min 16.5 roughly. So if you discount the fact QR is probably bumpier and longer the NSX would run under 1min 10 on the National without raising a sweat.

when qr was built either toyota or nissan came out and did a test around qr and did 105's. so that kinda equates. gtr 'around' 60 seconds is 8 secs plus. so a 1:16 it is going to be at least 10 secs faster making it a 106 around qr.

whats the s/s record? a 8 or 9? we have done an 11 i think.
