Who's got the most Horse Power?

Didnt read right, oops.
Fair enough. I guessed it was the broken bits stuff more then the accidents. I mean they aren't racing for sheep stations and the V8 supercars are, but they manage usually to get away clean. There are exceptions of course...

Yep, the Supercars do get away clean........but they put a new diff and set of gears on the box and a new pair of axels in for each weekend; amounst other things...maybe a clutch each weekend also for sure.

Add that up.....I would say about $12K should cover it.

Then they also have a handbrake don't they and some special start line procedure.

Give me a rolling start anytime.

By the way, Tander did not get away clean at 2008 Bathurst did he ?

Actually I was well pleased with his start lol. I must admit to being a 888 supporter even if there is very little holden or ford in a V8 these days. Hell, even 888 have tossed out the ford badge this year. They might as well call them V8 Supercar Sports Sedans.

I guess Ive just never done a rolling start but I reckon with my standing starts, I'll take a rolling one any day ;)

Can you run a supercar in sports sedans, with the Larry bar taken out, flared guards and a 6 litre?

I would say no
If you remove the Larry bar the Roll cage would need to be re-certified.
Also i do not think super cars use 2.5 mm driver side intrusion bars.
If you fix that i would say yup

( A question to anyone in the know, do All v8 supercars use an original
floor pan or is it just similar, are they modified for Batteries, Fire extinguisher,
exhausts etc... and is the motor moved at all. ).

vote 1 rolling starts
Any down side ????

I know the floorpan of the FG and the current commodore has to be shortened to fit within the spec of the "project blueprint" dimensions. The BF falcon didnt have to be shortened though.
Aside from that, I'm not sure what mods are done to the floorpans

Thinking about it you probably couldn't use one (FG,VE)
due to shell being shortened.

And yes they do run a full fabricated floor pan.
