Entry list for Wakefield Park

Postby ssedan14 » Sun Mar 29, 2009 8:42 am

Entries so far for Wakefield are: Hossack, Ricciardello, Bailey, Young, Butler, Banks & Macready. Entries close this friday. Unfortunately poor numbers which is not helped by the clash of dates with the Vic state round on the same weekend and the NSW state round at wakefield the weekend before!

FYI, there is also a Round of the Queensland State Championship on the same weekend at Morgan Park, Warwick.

Yeah im pretty anoyed with the lineup myself. once again so much promise but so little result. Obviously planning these things is difficult but i would think it would have been better organised for state and nationals meets to co-exist and still be able to get good grids...

That really is a poor entry list.

is there anyone out there who is a last minute hopefull? We are on that list, the car is almost back together with our latest strategy to overcome our problems. Only time will tell but if the car works. We will definately be there.

Anyone out there who wants to give us a reason? People tend to say 'there useless why arent they there' but generally they all have a dam good excuse.

???????????
surely the state rounds arent taking these guys away?

i would have thought the whole state series (nsw) would prefer to run the national round, 3x17 lap races plus most likely 2 qualifying sessions, compared to our 15 mins qual and 3 short races it has to be value for money!!!!!!!

ive just had a thought........

7 guys entered. 2 will drop out on saturday, 1 per race on sunday...... that leaves 2 cars on the track!

if i bring the reliable 131 i could get a podium!!!!

So which one should we support? Nationals or State Rounds? You don't support the National Rounds and you are the worst in the world, you don't support the State Rounds and the State Championship dies. We can't win!

We can't be in two places at the same time!

We've been put in the position where we have to make a choice because of an appalling clash of calenders, I mean could it possibly be any worse?

Was the April 25th/26th National Round at Wakefield Park the only option offered to us from CAMS Nationals organisers?

FYI, not everyone has been sitting on their hands, there is a fair bit going on in Queensland at the moment and I expect the State Championship round up here on April 25th/26th to be reasonably well supported!

Yea numbers are dissapointing...
Obviously dates are a large contributing factor... we all know the answer to this but not sure how to make it happen?
