i think this budget you talk about the top guys having is a bit silly.

if you get support fom people like painters, panel shops, sign writers, etc you can save. If you look a Ricciardello's car. the signage is mostly that. Same as Hossacks

I bet there's not many SS competiters looking for sponsors or have ever tried :o

Preperation and design doesnt cost. Its trying to re-invent the wheel.

But if guys like rotory's or turbo's, good luck to them.

And if you look at the top guys. All the work is done by themselve's. (Audi by John G & Mr Hossack, Alfa by Tony & Basil R, 300zx by Kerry B)

chev engines can be bought of the shelf.

So the budget seems to be time, weekends, nights.

So give the budget a rest boys :p

the ridiculous comment was'nt aimed at you profi.

the point i think you missed about trents was it has been funded sufficiently (engine wise). there is no 'potential' needed from the engine it HAS done what it needs to do to be competitive.

roads, cmon man u gotta be kidding, tell me how much you think those top bunch of chevs cost? how much do you think the transaxles in the top cars cost? how much do you think darrens chassis cost? and carbon fibre work etc? im sure you actually know. i believe there are cars out there in the top ten that cost less to build that some of the ENGINES alone cost in some other cars.

almost all the guys out there build there cars themselves, the time aspect is nearly the same for all teams.

some of the top guys are also using TWO sets of tyres for the w/e. plus they have the awesome pads that wear out quickly and need replacing and they run the top dollar fuels.

riccas car is covered in red rooster and the bendigo bank..... i guess he gets free lunch right?

I noticed on Natsoft that Chris had the Centreline car running at PI on the weekend. Hopefully we will get to see how it goes against your Rx7 later in the year Boost n 20B. Do you think you would have its measure on its home track?

Results speak for themselves....turbos must put too much strain on a race car, all four turboed cars didnt even start last race, banks didnt run all weekend unless i missed him in the very first fri practice, judging by the black soot substance he must have had an engine fire????

that one

u must know or be a part of tony's camp roads? only one person would have the view that bobby 'brake checked him'.......

ill put my money on trent at phillip island, (out of the two rx-7's)

Your too humble Boost'n 20b, I was hoping we could build it up a bit more in who has the fastest rotary race car in Oz ....

I agree with you Mr Boost...Looked more like Tony pushed his way passed Bobby to me! He also carved up Trent Young in the same race!
