I am suprised nobody has ever tried a Porche Turbo engine in a S/Sedan (other than 935's ect of course).

Yeah I have also wondered about that for many years, they can make heaps of power and are very robust engines. T
I suppose the cost factor is what turns people off, but then again building a decent V8 is not cheap either!

Anyone catch the footage on Speedweek this afternoon? I think that was the first time I have ever seen incar footage from the Alfa. You got a great view of the back of Bobby's rx7 at one stage....

sounds like there was heaps of action down there

was told bobby stepped out and brake checked Ricciardello in race 1 and they had a coming together.

maybe he was looking in the mirror to much and over committed the corner.

Hey Jd, compared to the V8's, Tony's in-car looked like it was played on Fast forward...

jd , if you watch the footage. notice the inside rear lock up and the mid corner step out and lose of speed?

the distance was the same all the way into the corner until the middle of the corner where bobby slowed.

At that speed what do you really expect other than contact.

Even Butler gave bobby a touch up also. Prob should blame the West Aussie for that to!

mate its called going in too hot, you cant expect to drive at the same pace constantly in traffic. if jenson button belted up thew ass of adrian sutil mid corner coz sutil was too slow do you think sutil or jenson would be in trouble??

i like tony as a driver i think he is great, but he stuffed up here. cant be perfect
