IRL powered BMW hillclimb car

This thing looks a bit odd but is pretty nuts, I actually saw it run at this hillclimb meeting and the video does not do the engine noise justice!! It has a Honda Indy Racing League V8 engine and a gearbox from a Prost F1 car, totally crazy! The bad news is though that it is now molten metal as it had a bad fire at a hillclimb race in the Czech republic last weekend.


Georg Plasa Judd V8 powered BMW Of course this beast was there too, its an impressive machine and was fifth fastest outright, faster then some of the Formula 3000s!
