I Think that is the car I bought sight unseen from a "person" in WA, oh what a fool was I.
It was in blue and black ELF colors.
16 laps of P.I. and the crap motor left its oil down the
main straight.
I sold the car still busted to a guy who has done a major makover
to return the car more to its original look and upgrade the running gear. I expect
the car will if it hasn't already hit the track VERY soon.

Patrick fess up, when are you coming racing.

I can recall that a member of Gregg's pit crew ran it a few times at state level after he sadly passed away (think the guys name was David, not 100% sure though) but that was easily over 10 years ago now. Have no idea where the car ended up though.

The XB sure got up to some anitcs at the track. At one of the Oran park night race meetings I remember in one race he barged passed Tony Wilsons rotary powered Escort and a couple of laps later drove over the back of Bill Martins RX7 chev!! The XB didn't look so good after that

Yes, Ricey is right. His was the old Greg McShane car. He is also right in saying that Patrick is a slack useless bastard who needs to get off his arse and finish it. (That's what I read anyway)..
The car is running and needs probably 2 days of work to finish it. (= 390 Patrick days)
It left here (Vic) about 4 months ago for Qld where I think nothing more has been done? Convince me otherwise Paddy!!!
Anyone in Qld let me know, i'll PM you his number and you can go around there and stick a rocket up his bum.
It will be making the trip down to Winton in August for the next Vic round (even if i have to go up there and get it myself). After that he plans to run at the combined state/national round at OP in October as he'd really like it to go back to where it started racing for 1 more run.
Here's a couple of pics of it as it left Vic.

Hi Nadz, the chassis is still pretty much how Greg had it. The floor is cut out and tubed but still has the original rails, original front suspension arms with coilovers and still has leaf spring rear end. Rear quarters are glass as they were but steel doors and front guards have been replaced with glass as well. (were steel when McShane ran it). The cleveland is gone and it now runs a Ford 5.0 litre supercar engine and 6 speed Holinger.
Really just needs the rear wing and front spoiler fitted and it's ready to go. I'll make him take it to OP wether it's running or not. We'll push it round with the Torana if we have to. See you there..

It's owned by a guy named Paddy, he's registered here as Yellow17 but not sure if he's posted yet or gets on here much. As for driving it, we wouldn't want to do that, it might get a stone chip or even worse a big scratch. (Kidding!!) Pat will drive it when it's going, or steer it whilst it's being pushed, either of the 2.
