well i went for a wobble(sorry couldn't help it ) around Qr at the top gear meeting on the weekend in my car , qualified on slicks in the wet ...pole by 1.2 seconds and 7 seconds faster than the next guy on slicks , it was my first ever race meeting and we had some fuel pressure issues due to the foam in the tank wanting to go through the exhaust ..

rxi11 qualifing on slicks in the rain is good fun hey :( I don't know if you got to see our effort but I spun lifting off the throttle to hard into turn 1 whilst doing a staggerin 1:37 lap time for 3rd on the grid compared to 1:15.5 in the handicap race :rolleyes: That was before I ran out of talent in turn 2 ! B) I was coming and you were all in trouble in 1 more lap :p

You should have come over and said hello . Burt who helps me has an early RX sport sedan as well and loves the rotary rapture ;)

Your car is presented nice and goes alright . Were you videoing groves car ? When we were watching it looked like he was towing you around the track. ;)

we were in aww of your car all day , looks ,sounds, goes awesome ..way to fast for me though , dont worry i had my share of brain fade over the weekend ..i'm happy to do the top gear metings untill i think im a half decent driver then i'd love to play with the real racers , thats always been my goal ..oh and win lotto . :p Tim and i met a few meetings ago and yes i was videoing him on saturday ,you actually learn quite a lot about your carwhen you watch video behind someone elses car ... i learnt , i should go faster :p

Yes your Brother and i had a few lengthy discussions over the weekend , his car sounds like it's going to be i little ripper , i thought i did say hi to you .. might just have been a nod though ...thanks for the compliment about the car . we did find a problem though ..this is what was inside the fuel tank ..




car still looks the same after the race meeting , i think thats a win ...

Is that why you DNF the 3rd race . You know fuel additives usually beneift performance :p but I dont think you add that type of stuff ?

That Cobra gave me paynes all weekend his weight advantage and power were to much at the end . :mad: The reason I lost ability in turn 2 was the steering rack moved in the brakets which adjusted my steering . s*** happens !

We were there on saturday in the sprints with the my MX5 in group 2 . The one with the big wing . We got to 1:00 before an throttle sensor switch died and lost us power . Good weekend of racing but !

Sorry I didn't ID you to the Mazda ? Next time
