Gees the forum has been a bit boring lately......same ole same ole, no controversy, no startling news.
Fair bit of crash damage from round 3. From my view (coming through from near rear of field) I saw some very average driving. As a matter of fact it was rare to see one car pass another without contact and damage. Maybe we need to get more racing to learn to drive a bit better. Main problem seems to be taking the wide entry into a corner and then seeing the gap shut suddenly without the driver on the outside even looking to see if anyone has snuck up the inside. Best way to avoid that is when someone is on your tail do not give them the temptation by opening the gap for them....stick to mid track or if they are faster let them through (unless it is the last lap or 2...sorry Trent).
I had good dices with Trent young, Chris Donnelly, Shane bradford, Elvis Barnes, Chris Jackson, Tony R (when he came through from rear of field) and maybe one or 2 others that I cant recall. Thanks to those guys for showing respect for their own and others equipment. Sorry to say that 1 or 2 others that I saw were not that impressive but thankfully not near me at the time.
Who is going to Oran park for round 4. Shame it is a state series standing start. Should have been rolling start like all the other rounds to get some more cars on the grid. Too much drive train damage happens at standing starts.
