Pics from today. It was typical stinking hot day in Western Sydney. I have kept them in reasonable resolution
so apologies to all those on Dial Up.

A few more. They only had 6 laps on track today and I need at least 10laps with my camera to guarantee a reasonable pic. Hopefully Nadz will get better pics tomorrow?

Great photo's, thanks for posting!!! ;)

Any news from today? Did Hossack and Ricciardello come together?
Congratulations to Jackson on his win, Wall on taking the final and Dean Camm for 3rd in the final! Points should be interesting now!

Ricca spun on top of the dogleg while in the lead which caused hossack to come off with him.... Hossack later pulled into the pits which looked like suspension failure..Ricca ended up finishing 4th.

I didn't get to OP, pity, must have been a great meeting. Did a quick calculation of the point score following the meeting, Des Wall on top now with 183 points followed by Darren and Tony on 168 and 164. Apparently, Darren broke a suspension component in race two which put him out for the day. Tony had his own drama's but top job by Des. Congrats to all who competed. Final round should be a beaudy!

After watching Race1 it looked like Des's championship hopes were all but gone. It would be great to see him finally take the championship after so many years service to the category. Well done to Chris J too for his first win in the National Series and special mention to the driver of the grey fiat for cracking the top 10 in one of the races, have to be happy with that Mr Boost?.

What an awesome race meeting, capacity grid, a great mix of cars, nice weather and some awesome racing throughout the field.

Highlights:
- Ricciardello and Hossack in race one were really going for it, seperated by centimetres at times.

- Des Wall storming back through the pack after lighting his tyres up on the grid in race one. Also finished the meeting leading the point score too, Phillip Island is going to be real interesting for him and his team!

- Chris Jackson winning race two, Baily and Wall chased him but he got to the line first and took out 3rd outright for the meeting, awesome! That smile will be on his face for a long time to come I bet!

- Ricciardello's save in race 3 when hit took to the grass airborne near the dogleg after going off on oil??? That was a real heart stopper of a moment and an awesome drive job to keep the Alfa off the concrete wall.

- Mr Boost Fiat in all 3 races, he was putting in a huge effort despite being a bit down on power compared to other cars.
Was awesome to see him driving around the outside of a few cars and having the Fiat crossed up in the dogleg!

- Joe Said's Fiat, looks and sounds awesome.

Great photos there JD Yort, was good to meet you too.

Hey guys thanks, yeh jd happy but unhappy. results were good but my times were way down on what i was hoping to do. i dont know if it was the scorching track temp or if i got a bad set of slicks. I did a 14 flat at the last meeting with 3 meeting old tyres. this time i had new ones and it was slippery as hell. i jus couldnt put my foot down. we screwed around with pressures etc but nothing helped. best i did all weekend was a 14.7 :(

Thanks a heap as always to 2002 turbo (crew chief) id be screwed without him! and to glen our new recruit and especially to graham, all his countless hours of help.
He did well too finnishing every session till race 3. we still dont know what broke.

i have a bunch of vids i have only uploaded 1 so far. i dont know why this looks so bad on youtube. on the tv you can see the track all the time?

A pic that was in the ASSA NSW newsletter.
Tell you what I am still amazed how Tony pulled the car up from this moment, brilliant!
