I think garry Roberts is just drivin Dean Camms truck down to the track, plus his engine is too big in capacity for that class....

Right there Nadz.. We're hoping to have the new and improved Buick in for round 2 at Mallalla, but as you say we're 4 litre so will run with the open cars. Should be fun....And yes I have been blackmailed into driving Dean's truck. I must have been really drunk the night he asked me to do that!! No more drinking for me.

Let's start by identifying the 3 groups, outright are now S1, U3500NA are now S2 and Heavy Metal are HM. These are the designations required by CAMS and will be used in programns etc. Series entries to date for the S2 have been received from Paul Hibberd, Damien Johnson & Garry Roberts. If that remains the case, all three will get a trophy at Wakefield! whoopee!
News from the Baily camp is that the Aston is not yet ready for the track and he is entered in the Nissan. More info' on tech' regs can be found on the "Competitors" tag on the home page of this site. Re the S1 cars, entry yet to be seen from some notables, Ricciadello, Randle, Camm, Wall, G Smith, Jackson, McGinniss plus others, I'm still hopefull that we will have these to add to the 21 entries to date making a total of 28 cars, I'd like to see that!

My mistake, Garry will of course be in the S1 with a 4 litre motor.

21 cars without them usual suspects is not too bad so far, im sure 90% of them guys will be there so should be a good round first up...

Regarding the McCloud rx7, is that the original bathurst mazda or a different car, as they were turbocharged back in the bathurst days im sure, therefore it would only be legal for the heavy metal class ?????.

The #50 RX7 entered by Peter McLeod is a non turbo version and is entered as a S2 (under 3500ccNA)
If we get the numbers that I expect, we should see some really good racing right through the field, can't wait!
