Good to hear ozmotorsport, would love to see a few HM cars, would be just like the old days eh'? Nadz44, the Slick 50 car will be in the old colours, Peter McLeod has gone to lot of trouble to make sure that he has the right number and colours as they were from a few years ago, should look really good.

Regarding the McCloud rx7, is that the original bathurst mazda or a different car, as they were turbocharged back in the bathurst days im sure, therefore it would only be legal for the heavy metal class ?????.

I am pretty sure that all the Group C RX7's were initially 12A non turbo and then moved to 13B non turbo. In 83 just before Bathurst they were allowed to run fuel injection on the 13B's. I think with the 13B's they could be peripheral ported, not sure about the 12A's. When they went to Group A in 85, they could only be bridgeported. So is the car that McLeod running the original Group C that Senese had? Peter may have had 2 Slick 50's RX7s over the years. One of his earlier cars was sponsored by Strongbow. That V8 Magna is an interesting car, I read an article on it many years ago. Could prove to be quite competitive.
