There's another early series RX7 with a chev power plant that went to QLD around 99/2000 that used to reside in Tassie, Competed in the O'brien series, sold and never seen it again. There's a picture of it somewhere on here from an Oran park grid overhead shot JD put up.

The Ex Darren Pate VH, thats somewhere up here (or was ?). When i had the Monza on the market he tried to buy the brakes off it.

This RX7 ran fairly infrequently in QLD when Steve Pittman owned it (I saw it once or twice at Morgan Park and QR). I believe this may be an ex-David McGuinness car? Robert Coutts has it now but I am unsure as to when or whether it will hit the track again as it has been stripped and modified to try and improve it as it was in very average condition when Couttsy purchased it. I was recently told he had actually scrapped the project, it may well be for sale again shortly.

Was it the black car with the blue stripe down it? I have footage of it taking out Thomson in the Mercedes at Amaroo.

Yeah pretty sure they're referring to the old McGuiness RX7 Chev, ran in Sydney up until the mid 1990s.

As for Pate's VH, jeeez that takes me back! Last time I saw that race was at a night race at Oran Park in 1991, he actually won the race too. He stepped up to the Lexcen shortly after that, amazing that the VH is still around.

- Camm Prelude, sold or in shed?
- Mikac RX7, will it see the track again?
- Sense Falcon, still around?
- Tony Wilson Monaro, heard it's for sale, someone buy it!

Camm Prelude i believe is still in his shed and was nearly sold to a vic state competitor who wanted to upgrade but didnt eventuate...

And the Senese falcon there were talks a couple of years ago he still had the car and was gonna rebuild it and run a 2 car team with his son Alfie in the Falcon...
