Hi all. Just got back from bathurst and heard a rumour that the sport sedans have an invite from FOSC to race up there with them over easter some time. Does anyone no anything about this or heard anything about it

No approach has been made to NASSA and it is not part of our 2011 series. Who is FOSC?

i was up helping out with the improved production cars and apparently they declined an offer to run with fosc over the easter time. There was a few people that came up and asked if the sports sedan were going to fill in the empty space to run with them. Thats all i was told but they were sure that we were going to be there.

FOSC have nothing to do with the Easter Bathurst event in 2011. The event is being promoted by Yeehah Events (same promoter as the 12 Hour Event last weekend).

I heard a rumour that the FOSC were running an event at Eastern Creek instead?

Yeah, that's correct. They canned the Bathurst race and are running at Eastern Creek for the easter meeting this year. Gonna have motorbikes and go-karts (Festival of Sporting 'CARS' anyone).

Gave us a line about the Bathurst Council not coming to the party or something. Least ways that's the line we were fed.

all I have read is that marque sports cars are running one of their 1hr endurance rounds their at easter. Does anyone else know who is def running at bathurst at easter?

Just been anounced on the bathurst 12hr fan page on facebook that the sports sedans have been confirmed as a support class run by the NSW commitee. I know the boys that throw the money towards the national series (kerick) wont like it bein talked about but i think this will be a great thing for this great class. I will def be up there for that one... Bring it on...
