Hey Jd, I think the open day is not till November? They are doing a heap of work there. The dragstrip is no longer part of the circuit. You go around the old gloweave and down the pit lane. It is yet to be resurfaced (supposedly happening in the next few weeks) so it's REALLY bumpy. But still good fun. There is talk of the track regaining it's CAMS permit. If so, maybe we will end up having a round there (state at least). Would be great.

That'd be great to get some State Rounds back to Calder!!

Phillip Island Round 5

So who is coming to Phillip Island for the final Kerrick National Series round?

I have changed my plans from a fully paid work trip to SEMA in Las Vegas to come and race the Torana for one last time at Phillip Island B)

This will be our final round as we are taking a break after 14 years straight of self funding and will only be doing a few selected events in 2012 (Bathurst and MCM if it happens again!) :(

Now unless someone has any leads for a sponsor for us in 2012 things may change ;)

Thankyou to Phast Phil for his ongoing support of the U3500NA class and hopefully some new blood can step up next year to keep the class alive.

We'll be there with our two cars toranaracer. Can't wait! That run down the straight at PI flat in 6th really gets the heart pumping!!

Great news that the big ford is coming back to the island CD. We're expecting big things from you after that sterling effort at Morgan Park!

Just want to finish three races Gaz!

Oh, and I've told Luke that I won't try and make it 4-wide on the run down to Turn 3 this time ;)

Hahaha, pity he won't be running. Maybe we can talk him into having a go of his old mans car for that round?

Good luck Garry and Lauren, good to see what Garry is doing here
Our Club Under 2 Litre Sports Sedans has recently discussed the concept of introducing and mentoring women into Motor Sport expecially Sports Sedans, I have written to Leanne Tander for some advise and am waiting on a reply.
Garry has simply got of his arse and done it, well done, I hope it goes well for you both
He has set the example now the rest of us have to follow it
