Thanks Id Yord, I didn't have a camera on board but Chris may have. It was an awesome weekend and a big thanks to Steve for getting the Camaro to go so dam quick, Rhys for his help all weekend, Dunlop for the new sticky 18" tyres which obviously worked well, Toymax and everyone involved in putting it all together

What an event, what a crowd.

Well done to Toymax and your Committee in getting this opportunity.

We spent the whole weekend explaining to people all about our category.

They have seen our cars on Speedweek but never up close.

I had a ball playing with Doulman and Bowen before we lost another engine :( and bringing everyone's fun to an early end.

If known early enough next year, Phast Phil may want to see if this could be included in the Kerrick National Series?

Now back to the shed to see what went wrong this time................................

I totally agree with what others have posted, an awesome event and the Sport Sedans
had a big field full of quality cars that put on a great show. There surely was a buzz at
this race meeting, there were so many people attending, one of the biggest crowds
I have seen at Eastern Creek in a long time! It was great that our class could race infront
of such a big crowd, its been far too long since this happened!

Surely some good exposure for the class and there were plenty of interested onlookers
so hopefully we captured people's imagination and they'll want to follow our class or perhaps
get involved.
A big congrats to Toymax for a massive behind the scenes effort, just awesome.

Unfortunately the 2002 wasn't quite ready, the old man was keen, haha probably a bit too keen!
We tested a few weeks earlier but it didn't go 100% to plan and had too much work to get done
before the event. Not to worry we're working on it and will try to get out there again very soon.

Don't forget to watch 7MATE tomorrow afternoon at 2:30pm (check local guides!) for the highlights from this years MCM.

Hopefully we put on a good enough show to get some TV B)

that mint bit of 4 wheel driving cost me a front spoiler! tore the whole thing off and understeered his way through the rest of the race, was cool tho!
