Another Commodore for sale, whose is this one.

http://www.my105.com/4361

It's the Rocky Whitbread car, ex- Nolan (probably ex-Vigurs).

It was raced only once at State Round in QLD either this year or late last year after it's rebuild.

THE VP SPORTS SEDAN WAS BUILT BY SOMEONE IN SYDNEY( NO NOT STEVE V.) IT WAS THEN OWNED BY SOMEBODY IN MELBOURNE, I COULD HAVE HIS PHONE NUMBER SOMEWHERE, AFTER THET STEVE VIGURS BOUGHT IT AND BROUGHT IT BACK TO SYDNEY IT HAD BEEN TO VARIOUS WORKSHOPS, THEN DENIS NOLAN BOUGHT IT, IT WAS STORED AT ANTHONY MACREADYS WORKSHOP FOR A WHILE THEN I GOT IT(MICHAEL MECSERY) THE EX VINCE MUTOLOVIC TF CORTINA CAME UP FOR SALE AS A BARE CHASSIS SO I BOUGHT THAT. MY FRIEND SHANE OBRIEN GOT IT OFF ME HE STILL HAS THE CAR, UNDER SHELTER,HE HAS A FORMULA VEE AND A SPARE CHASSIS TO GET RID OF THEN HE CAN START PUTTING IT TOGETHER. HOPE THIS HELPS.

Bob Jolly's car started as a VN not a VP, the shell that was used was Holdens test car number 3. About 2 years later it had a rebuild into the VS.

Cheers I hope this info helps.

Yes your right with the log book saying VP but if you got side on photos you will notice the front and rear bumpers don't stick out as much like they do on the VP if you would like the phone number of my father Mark Dickson who built the car for Bob pm me he will confirm all the details.
