We have incar footage of race 2 start. From where we are, outside sheppard and sheils, it looks like sheppard has gone too hot into the corner and spun by himself right infront of sheils. Doesn't look like there was any contact at all. I think for sports sedans everyone was very well behaved!

I sent some e mails to the media people who did the footage and commentary on sat, but they said the footage taken on Saturday was not recorded. Its a shame coz that was some of the best sports sedan racing I've seen for a while.

Does anyone know what happened to the red rx7? He did an excellent job in fridays race but don't think he started either race on sat. Also well done to robbo for a great drive. He must have been ecstatic.

That was just the most awesome weekend. Ive been watching Bathurst for the last 35 years & to finally race there was something i never thought possible!

HUGE Thanks Sean & Helen & family for their most professional category organisation through out the entire process, truly well done & thankyou !!!

Thanks also to my fellow competitors who put their money where their mouth was , many months in advance , & collectively made the whole event possible .

If there is any chance of running again next year , then I'll be there .

If it was on again next year who would be prepared to run again, or turn up for the first time ??

Finally did anybody find a way of recording the webcast of our races .

As per Chris's post above, I agree, racing at Bathurst was incredible! What an awesome weekend!

Thanks to Sean and family and the NSW Sports Sedan Association for the terrific job in organising the event. It was great to meet, face to face and get to share what was a brilliant weekend of racing.

Congratulations to my fellow competitors also, by and large there was very little drama caused by our category, like others have said there were a few safety car laps, but no red flags. Lots of respect was shown for each other and the Mountain itself. From all reports, the quality of the racing was very high also!

I'd be back there in a heartbeat, the place is amazing! One of the great things about our category is the closeness of the racing with such a variety of cars with different strengths and weaknesses, I reckon I was in a dice for pretty much every lap of every race!!

Where can I download the Entry Form for next year from?? ;)
