Great stuff Bob McLoughlin

Just read this article about Bob McLoughlin generously offering up his commodore to Tony Ricciardello for the weekend to keep his championship hopes alive.. Great stuff Bob.. A true show of sportsmanship. This is one of the many reasons why I love Sports Sedans and our level of motorsport in general.. Everyone willing to help each other get on the track... :D

Can only Reiterate what Gaz said, cracking example of why SS is not only the best class in Australia but that level of camaraderie is not found in any other class i am aware of. Roll on the rest of the season. Go Ballbag and see ya all at the Island in May!!

Even though this is not the way that Basil and Tony did not want to start the series!!
This is the best way to start the championship, shows great sportsmanship that is not shown, talked publicly about.
Everyone that follows this class/championship knows that everyone helps everyone in way or another, but this is the best promotion that Phil and the guys could hope for, as well as the Aston.

I dod hope that Bob does get something for his effort besides Tony's experience in the car!!
As he deserves it!!

As I have said before and I will say it again, the best class breads the best drivers, and this is what sports sedans does.
Congrats Bob my hats off to you!!
Thanks

incredible bob, thankyou for saving our championship battle. Id vote him in for prime minister

as we all know sports sedans have barely a part in them you can buy off the shelf, so risking your car to someone else
who will never be able to rebuild it exactly the same if they write it off is a massive thing to do.
Im now wondering if bob is the nicest guy in the world or he has left a suspension bolt loose hoping to get a newly
engineered ricciardello car...... kidding bob, your a true gentlemen to have made your offer

Haha pretty impressive from ricca and the comodore.... Bob would have to be wrapped seeing how fast the car went... With hossack not in both qualifying sessions does that mean they didn't get the car ready in time????, can he race tomorrow if the car turns up in the morning???
