Round 3 - Sydney Motorsport Park - 14-15 July 2012

Well with round 3 34 days away i think we should be getting excited and start making a prelim entries list, it could well be a record field. The latest state round over the weekend enjoyed a 27 car entry list. by race one saturday we were down to 23 but this is still fantastic. throw in another 16 national cars (being a joint national/state round) and wham we have an AWESOME field.

missing from the usual state crowd i would say will be dave mcguniess as he exploded a dodge.

but after race 3 id say the definates (not confirmed) from the sate lot will be

the trucks? i dont knwo what happens there this year

the rest im not sure about. i would say most will try and id say grant doulman would want to stuff himself in the middle of some natioanl cars we will have to wait and see.

Yeah apparently this will be the much anticipated debut of the new stang, plus hopefully coxy Saab should be good, and seneses vette as well...... Apparently the dodge in McGinnis car is fine it was a rose joint that went...

awesome to have the saab and the senese car there too, great news about the mcguniess car.
the commentators were going off about all the smoke pouring out of the car so we all thought it
must have been an engine.

Will it be 3 races on the Sunday or 1 on the Saturday?
Should be a great meeting particularly with a bumper Australian GT field expected too.

what about barnes?? wat happend to the car... also i think birol cetin would be a definite also cameron in the gemin

i highly doubt that the trucks being there because not being allowed and they are not contending for pionts, hopefully minium of 30 cars

I reckon 30 would be the number to aim for.... 15 national and 15 state should be fairly easy to get....

Looks like the new Mustang will be there. Just a mass of wires everywhere at the moment with all this data logging stuff and ECU. Call me old fashioned but what is wrong with the seat of our pants and a carby? Otherwise we are pretty close to give it a run.

Barnes will be there. He has thrown down the gauntlet to me and I have to kick his ass. That may depend who is driving as "Elvis" Barnes has about 5 personalities. If he is driving no worries but if "Dan" turns up we could all be in trouble as he is hot and gets better as the weekend progresses. If "Ali" appears then he will be OK but "Ali's" best days are behind him.

Frank Mascadri should be there from Qld also. No trucks as they do not fit in with the National series sporting regs and they are aware of this.
