Best of luck to everyone. Sorry I can't be there. :-(
Stay safe and I'll see you all at the Island in September.

Unfortunately Bobby's reliability gremlins are still present

Engine problems have put them out for the weekend :(

Would love to mate but have you seen my car lately?
I'm committed to racing Sandown Historics in it. Maybe if it doesn't blow up or try and jump the fence and race on the horse track like last time it was there, and if Loz has gotten over carrying around her belly full of spare parts by then, she can have a run with you at Sandown?

Definitely makes for an interesting championship. Great reward to Shane and Bruce for consistency being 2nd and 3rd respectively.

I love the pointscore structure in the Kerrick Series, you've got to finish races and most importantly be around all day to finish the last one!

Both Shane and Bruce are going really well at the moment, 10's at QR isn't hanging around, Crompo was right in there also last weekend! Banksy made Shane work hard all weekend to stay in front of him! Whilst not quite at the pace of the top three guys, the two Camaro's are doing everything right at the moment, fast, reliable.... One slip up from Baily or Ricciardello and the Series could be anybodys.........

It was sad to see Damian Johnson have to pack up early with an engine problem, he had the Torana hooked up - 18's on a real horsepower circuit is bloody quick!!! Hope to see you, Andrea and Murray at PI mate, I know you were pretty upset on Saturday arvo. Dameon Jameson had a pretty tough initiation to QR as well, changed ratios a few times and unfortunately suffered an engine issue. A new engine for PI should see the Jag back up the front where it should be.

Good job to all my other QLD mates, Coxy, Bob, Smithy, Charlie, Jeff Barnes and Chris Aston. Robbo was mixing it up with the locals in some great dicing all weekend! Shane Hart was also very quick in their new car, 13's first time at QR is an excellent effort. They now need a gearbox than can handle the torque of the 13B Turbo!!

Can't wait for PI, should be a cracker!

Just a quick comment to the motorsport media out there, why is there no mention anywhere on our category from the weekend?

Multiple lap records are broken, fantastic racing, race dramas and not one mention.

What do we need to do to raise the profile of our category so we do get some recognition?

If it was not for the Facebook messages, no one would even have known we were there.

Do I as a "lapped driver" need to keep getting crashed into so we can get some exposure?

CD, we will have a better idea on if we will complete the season in the next few days, but from our preliminary checks, it looks like last weekend was it for quite a while :(

No doubt, Baily, Hossack and Ricciardello deserve the lions share of the press and they are generally the three that get the press.

A lot of the other semi-pro categories have paid PR people who publicise categories, so realistically it's up to us to do it ourselves.

I actually set up a Twitter account for Shane B. @shanebradford68 and send a tweet after each session at a race meeting directed to @ShannonsNats (then their followers see our tweets). Simple, you can do it from an iPhone and it takes me 15 seconds or so to tweet.

Competitors need to utilise Social Media a lot more, there is not much time involved in setting up some processes to get your news out there. Half the time the news outlets are screaming for content!

I am on to it. Normally Garry O'Brien scribes for us but this time I do not know what happened.
I will have to check with Rob if some PR comes with the Nationals or whether we need to appoint our own person. I am sure we could find someone keen and cover some expenses but I am just hoping this was a once only hiccup as normally there is reports from every session and something in the motorsport media.
