Could anyone advise what, if any, modifications would be necessary to have a NZ Trans Am car comply with the ASSA regulations.
Car currently complies with NZ regs.

Any information would be greatly appreciated as i would like to have a better understanding before following up on a car that is currently available ex NZ.

Regards Brian.

No modifications are required at all Fast Ford.

If it complies with NZ the only restriction is an RPM limit of 8000 RPM in the Kerrick series.

You are however able to add a few features and still be OK with the ASSA regs, like bigger diameter brakes and wheels, fuel injection if you wanted to but then you have to reduce to 7800 RPM.

Go follow it up without fear of extra work.

Thanks Phast Phil, I will follow up now i have some confidence it would not turn into a big headache.
I was thinking along those lines but better to ask than guess.

Just need to have confirmation on freight cost now, they a bit slow at replying due to Christmas break i guess?
Has anyone imported a race car from NZ?

Thanks again.
