Russell Kramer now lives in Brisbane and fabricates and assists the Smith Rover team.
Most parts from the XW Falcon made their way into the space framed XD Falcon that Russell raced for some years before crashing at Oran Park. It was the first XD Falcon to race ever as Russell had backing from a Ford dealer at the time. The car was repaired and rebodied to EA Falcon and sat around for a while before Phil Crompton purchased it from Russell in 1994. It became the Pacific Performance EB Falcon that won Qld sate C'ship in 1995. He raced for about 8 years mainly in the National series and that car was crashed at Mallala in 2003. Some parts from that car made their way into the transam Mustang that Phil races now. Believe it or not there is a relationship between the Kramer XY and the Crompton Mustang Trans-am....however slight!
The badly bent Falcon space frame chassis became a resident at Sims Metal (probably now part of a Hyundai) with all the body molds gifted to the Donnolly's who run same body shape as the Kramer made Falcon EB.
